🎄🥎 BASE PRESENTS: THE GRINCH GAMES 🥎🎄
This November, we’re doing more than playing softball.
We’re giving BASE athletes an opportunity to help create Christmas for children in need across Arkansas.

Special Grinch Games awards will be presented for first through third place—but this weekend will be about much more than trophies.
Throughout the tournament, players and families can participate in:

🦌 Max’s Antler Toss
🎁 Steal Christmas Relay
🔎 Grinch-themed children’s hunt
❤️ Heart Grew Three Sizes Challenge
We’ll also award prizes for:
👕 Best Grinch-themed team uniforms
🎅 Best coach costume
⛺ Best-decorated team tent
Funds raised through the Grinch Games will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for children and families in need across Arkansas.
But we don’t want our athletes merely to hear where the money went. We want them to become part of the mission.
Applications will soon open for the BASE Player Advisory Commission and our Junior Gift Givers.
These selected athletes will help us through every step of the process—from identifying families in genuine need and gathering their Christmas lists to shopping for presents, preparing the gifts and helping deliver them to the families.
We want our players to experience what it feels like to use softball as a way to serve someone else. We want them to see the families, understand the need and know they helped create a Christmas that might not otherwise have happened.
The BASE Player Advisory Commission will continue that work beyond the Grinch Games. BPAC members will provide a genuine player voice as BASE evaluates its rules, conduct policies, sportsmanship standards and overall tournament experience.
BASE should always strive to become a better vessel for the athletes we serve—and we believe athletes deserve a place in that conversation.
